Online Security Training for the Food Sector
CAMOR have developed an interactive, online security training solution for the food sector. The course will provide the foundations upon which all staff within the food and farming sector including production, processing and distribution, may gain and enhance their knowledge, skills and understanding of various security related issues.
The course of study, comprising eight modules, is both informative and interactive in nature. The training is ‘learner centred”, inviting the user to engage with and explore information through a range of different interactive design elements. Alongside the heavily featured interactivity, video, animation, graphics and infographics further support and enhance learning and retention. Informal knowledge checks throughout the course provide opportunities for the learner to reinforce understanding.
Appropriate staff training provides a layer of risk management which can enhance organisational capability and resilience. Suitably trained staff can potentially identify those who may have hostile intent to your organisation. In addition, they will be more competent at responding correctly to any ongoing threat.
The early identification of suspicious behaviours will have significant benefits to potentially prevent an attack on a site.
